Marley Park sounds great.... so many possibilities for a great course..... will bring back all those memories of getting chased by the wardens when we'd swing through the park on the way back from a spin.... those were the days..... can't wait.

Where will the nationals be held this year?

yeah paddy, its on the official date for the National championships each year. which this year is....the 11th. But IROLAN has to be different as usual..leaves it tight to new years this year which is a pity..

should have final confirmation on all venues later today..

corcagh looks good for this Sunday...fast as usual but going to add a few bits to previous years courses to make it more interesting, in the less interesting bits...so fast down that back straight by the camping place...love it

anyway I'll put

As in Corcagh is a GO! Sunday 09th Nov 08.

Looks like the course will be spectator friendly with about 85% of the entire course visible from the start/finish. The 25000 spectators are in for a treat this year.

13:00 start time for the cross race.

If there is any change I am sure it will be advertised ASAP.

Stu, Bob, have you arranged for the Garda to make any patrols of the carpark at Corcaigh as I think they offered for future events (in light of the last couple of car break ins there)?

Robin is on the case with them...... the start area is right beside the carpark too this year which will help.

Marley Park! I might come out of Cross Retirement for that one. Not much time to get fit it's on the 16 Nov 2008. Maybe Corcaigh as well to shake off the cobwebsSmile

Cross retirement? What are you talking about? Just enjoy riding your bike James.

Yeah Jp thanks I'm working on the Gardai, going to try sort someone to patrol the car park too. Especially for the duration of the race.
